Initiated by Victor Tam, Conductor and Co-Director of Dynasty Financial Group, the 10th consecutive “A Band Xmas Charity Concert”, co-organized by the Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia and Dynasty Charity Foundation, was successfully held yesterday. “Now in its 11th year, “A Band Xmas Charity Concert” has been well recognized and appreciated by the public, and has become one of the landmark events in Hong Kong during the Christmas season.

Together with the Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia and Dynasty Charity Foundation, the Concert aims to recognize young people’s contribution to music, enhance public awareness of Hong Kong’s music and arts, and at the sametime draw more attention to the vulnerable groups in Hong Kong, so that caring and love can be merged into the sound of music, and music can spread love to the lives of people in Hong Kong on the occasion of the festive season.

This year’s event was a great success, with more than a hundred performers from primary and secondary schools in attendance, and kicked off with a Dynasty Theme Song composed by Ronald Kwong, CEO of Dynasty Holdings, together with Victor, as well as Mr. Hung Wing Shing, a famous actor, as the Charity Ambassador of the event, who supported the event. Ronald said on stage, “The success of this event is attributed to the support of the community, and it was our honor to be a part of it. Starting from 2013, we have worked side-hand with the organizer until today, and we are honored to be the major sponsor of the “A Band Xmas Charity Concert”. In the future, we will continue to support Dynasty Charity Foundation and hope that the “A Band Xmas Charity Concert” will be held every Christmas.” The activity was successfully completed with the beautiful sound of music.
